Grilled Rainbow Trout

Enjoy fish grilled with lime and Molly McButter.

  • 4 small rainbow trout
  • 4 Tbsp. Molly McButter® Natural Butter Flavor Sprinkles (divided)
  • 1/2 cup onion (minced)
  • 1/2 cup red pepper (minced)
  • aluminum foil
  • vegetable oil spray
  • fresh lime juice


Preheat barbecue or grill to medium high. Prepare 4 sheets of foil, large enough to wrap each trout. Lightly spray each sheet with vegetable spray. Fill each trout cavity with 1/4 of the onion and red pepper. Sprinkle each fish with 1 Tbsp. (15mL) of Molly McButter® and fresh lime juice. Seal each foil package and grill 8-10 minutes in total, turning once during cooking.
